It’s that time of year again. It’s getting hot outside, the trees are green, the bugs are back and school is almost out. That’s right it’s May and for high school seniors that means graduation.
De Soto High School will be holding it’s graduation on May 19 at 2 p.m. Although senior are expected to arrive by 12:35 a.m. to get prepared.
The school has some fun in store for the seniors before graduation though. On Thursday, May 17, the senior class will travel to Worlds and Fun and spend the day there for Senior Fun Day.
In the morning on May 18, there will be a senior breakfast for the students and their families followed by an awards ceremony and a required rehearsal for graduation.
Most of the senior class are very excited to graduate and for all of the activities beforehand.
“Yes [I’m exited to graduated], because [then] I can get on with my life and do new things,” senior Austin Showen said.
Graduation is something high schoolers look forward to since their first step in the door as freshman and the time has finally arrived for the Class of 2012.
