Terra Firma Salon and Spa in De Soto. provides massage services, manicures and pedicures, waxing, tanning and hair.

After opening in April, the salon and spa has done very well with cosmetic customers. This year, the owner, Nichole Reynolds, has chosen to add another aspect to her business. With the winter formal dances and Prom coming up, she has purchased a variety of new formal dresses ranging up to $400 to sell at the salon for only $25. Dress donations are also on sale at Terra Firma.

Targeting the high school crowd, the salon and spa is also selling jewelry, bags and other accessories at discounted prices.

Located behind the Taco Bell in the strip mall on Lexington, Terra Firma Salon and Spa can serve as an exclusive one-stop shop for students this year.

Terra Firma is open Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., Wednesday 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Saturday 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and appointments can be made in person or by calling (913) 585-1371.
