Taking the stage one last time
The 2018 dance season has come to an end, but not before performing one last time as a team at their spring show “Big City, Bright Lights” on April 13.
At the show the team performed a total of five routines together, as well as many duos, trios and solos.
These routines included styles like contemporary, lyrical, jazz, pom and won the Diamonds 3rd Runner Up in the Extra Small Division at nationals.
“My favorite routine was the guy/girl dance “Party Mix,” because performing with the guys is always fun and the audience seems to really like them too,” senior Charisa Dodd said.
This past year there were 12 members on the Diamonds dance team with three seniors graduating at the end of the school year.
“I have known all of the seniors for a long time, so I will definitely miss them and the positive energy and motivation they brought to the team,” junior Emma Leonard said. “They have served as great role models to the team this year and I loved dancing beside all of them.”
