Wildcat of the week: Riley Moore
Student athletes have many responsibilities, but a senior handles those very thoroughly. This weeks Wildcat of the Week is Riley Moore.
Moore is involved in many activities such as: senior class president, volleyball, A&M Crew, National Honor Society, Principal’s Council, cheer captain, prom committee, co-editor-in-chief of yearbook, and she is a Kansas Honor Scholar.
In the fall, Moore is a part of the volleyball program and cheer team that she has been participating in for four years. During season, Moore has volleyball practice at night and cheer practice either after or before school.
“Riley is such a sweet, sassy and hardworking person. She strives for everything to be the best it can be,” said Moore’s cheer teammate Taylor Escobar.. “She can always put a smile on anyone’s face by just being her complete and yourself.”
Moore likes being involved in many different activities because of the opportunities it brings.
“I like participating in so many activities because it allows me to stay connected and involved in school events and make the most out of my high school experience,” Moore said.
As well as athletic activities, Moore exceeds in academics as well.
Being involved in A&M Crew, NHS, Principal’s Council, yearbook and being the senior class president as well as a Kansas Honor Scholar takes a lot of dedication in the school aspect of life.
“Being involved in academics offers different opportunities that allow me to work with our community and to give me experience with a variety of events to prepare for college,” Moore said.
