As singers become accustomed to auto-tune, and drum machines continue to take the place of band members, there are still a few artists that stay true to pure musicality; one being Michael Bublé.
Bublé keeps music’s history alive by drawing inspiration from legends such as Stevie Wonder, Frank Sinatra and Tony Bennett. He began his journey to stardom as a teenager with the help of his grandfather. He and his grandfather would listen to classic records together, and Bublé found his niche.
With full support of his family, Bublé entered and won several teen talent contests and caught the eyes of many. Eventually he started singing at weddings. Bublé became the wedding singer that made it.
During one particular reception, he was introduced to Warner Bros. executive David Foster who was excited about Bublé’s potential. Soon after, Foster signed Bublé, and his first album was released in 2003. This album reached #1 in Australia’s top charts in no time, was in the top 10 albums in the UK and went multi-platinum in several countries. Bublé continues to release his work, and become more successful than ever.
Check out his newest holiday album entitled, “Christmas”. This album includes all the holiday classics, with Bublé’s modern twist.
